Our Programs

Infants

6 weeks - 18 months
The Infant room is operated around each individual child’s needs. We work with the parents to find a schedule balance according to their growing and developing child. This program uses Frog Street Curriculum that is tailored to the developmental milestones of an infant. Biblical songs and talking to the children about Jesus is also incorporated into their daily routine.

Toddler

18 months - 36 months
The Toddler room is full of exciting Frog Street Curriculum to get them ready for the Preschool room. They focus on the developmental needs of a toddler through play-based activities and enhance their communication skills. Biblical songs and stories are incorporated on a daily basis.

Preschool

2 yrs - 3.5 yrs
The Preschool room uses Funshine Curriculum to meet the developmental needs for this age group. They learn through play-based and faith-based activities daily. This age is also focused on potty training.

Pre-Kindergarten

3.5 yrs - 5 yrs
The Pre-K room uses Funshine Curriculum and works on kindergarten readiness. This class introduces academic work, but also incorporates learning through play. This classroom has biblical lessons every week with their curriculum as well. This age should be fully potty trained.

Our program is designed to create an environment where children from 6 weeks to 5 years can grow and develop. It is our desire to serve families in the greater Brea community by providing child care that promotes the children’s development socially, physically, emotionally, cognitively and spiritually. The class environment and curriculum are child centered and developmentally age appropriate. We are a play-based preschool that focusses on your child learning through play.

We also believe that parent involvement is crucial to the child’s well being and development. For this reason, teachers are in constant communication with parents regarding their child’s progress. We are committed to provide the highest quality care and education we can offer as we serve the families in our community.

Refinery Preschool is amazing! The teachers and staff are wonderful, nurturing and caring. They helped my daughter get confident in potty training, which was a huge blessing. She now wakes up during nap to pee and knows how to use the bathroom by herself. My son and daughter both love all their teachers. The classrooms are beautifully decorated, fun outdoor play sets and amazing curriculum. The activities are engaging and family events were always so perfectly detailed. I definitely recommend Refinery Preschool if you're looking for a loving environment for your children.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this school! My son has been going here almost a year and he loves it! He is in the Toddler A room and his teachers are so kind and sweet but also help reinforce boundaries and teach good like skills like listening and respecting others.

Wonderful preschool that is now called REFINERY PRESCHOOL! Loving and nurturing staff make this preschool a great place! It is a safe and fun fantastic school that I would recommend to every family!!!
