At REFINERY Preschool located in the heart of downtown Brea, we offer a diverse range of programs designed to nurture and develop young minds at every stage of early childhood. Our personalized, developmentally appropriate curriculum supports infants through pre-kindergarten children in a loving and engaging environment.

Infant Classroom

6 Weeks - 18 Months

In our Infant room, we personalize care based on the unique needs of each child. Together with parents, we establish a balanced schedule that supports the growth and development of their infants. Our program employs a curriculum specifically tailored to meet the developmental milestones of infants. Additionally, biblical songs and discussions about Jesus are woven into the daily routine.

Toddler Classroom

18 Months - 36 Months

In our Toddler room, we offer an exciting curriculum designed to prepare little ones for the Preschool environment. Through play-based activities, we cater to the developmental needs of toddlers, focusing on enhancing their communication skills. Every day, we integrate biblical songs and stories to enrich their learning experience.

2 Yrs - 3.5 Yrs

In our Preschool room, we use a carefully selected curriculum designed to meet the developmental needs of children in this age group. Each day, our young learners engage in both play-based and faith-based activities that foster growth and learning. Additionally, this stage includes a focus on potty training.

Pre-K Classroom

3.5 Yrs - 5 Yrs

Our Pre-K room is designed to prepare children for kindergarten. The curriculum in this class introduces academic work while still emphasizing learning through play. Biblical lessons are also integrated weekly to complement our educational approach. At this stage, children are expected to be fully potty trained.

Our kids have been attending Refinery since 2021 and the entire family couldn't be happier. I love how all the staff care for our kids like family. Our kids didn't have the easiest transition into daycare and the staff continue to amaze us with how kind and nurturing they are. The school is always clean and well-equipped, and it always feels welcoming and safe. Our kids share and show that they feel secure and happy there. The classes have well planned activities, educational play, arts and crafts, and outdoor time. I particular like that they allow walks/field trips so the kids get to see the real world in a safe setting. Communication with the daycare staff has been great with daily updates, regular newsletters. We love Refinery!

When I found out I was pregnant with my second baby I started looking for a new preschool that also had infant care so both kids could be at the same school. Refinery Preschool came highly recommended by two friends. We've now been at Refinery Preschool for 3 years and we are still very happy with the staff, facilities, and fun learning our kids have been able to enjoy. Thankful for this school.

Absolutely love this school! Before I found Refinery, I toured many preschools. None which I loved or felt comfortable leaving my little guy there. When I toured Refinery, I knew it was the right place for us. Even after 3 years, the staff, teachers and director were amazing! You can tell they truly care for all the kids equally and I also loved how the staff engaged with the parents at check in and check out. I highly recommend this preschool.
